New Brussels Airlines cabin receives prestigious award

The new long haul product that Brussels Airlines introduces this year aboard its scheduled flights to New York and Africa, has already received an award.
During the Apex Expo, the international trade fair for in-flight product that is organized in the US every year,  top professionals from the aviation industry and the specialized press awarded Brussels Airlines with the prestigious Avion award ‘Best Single Achievement in the Passenger Experience'.

 

The Apex Expo is thé meeting place for in-flight product specialists where every year the airlines offering the best flight experience are awarded. This year Brussels Airlines was one of the winners. The new long haul cabin that is currently being installed in Brussels Airlines’ Airbus A330 aircraft, was so much appreciated by the aviation professionals  and specialized media that it received the Avion Award for ‘Best Single Achievement in Passenger Experience'.

The new cabin, which was launched by at the beginning of this year, is a quality product of the latest generation that positions Brussels Airlines as a trendsetter thanks to its modern design, the latest technology and superior comfort. In Business Class passengers can easily transform their seat into a full flatbed thanks to a touch control panel. They can also enjoy a state of the art in-flight entertainment system for which Brussels Airlines is one of the launch customers, mood lights, personal storage space and a seat configuration that offers more privacy. Economy Class is equipped with ergonomic seats offering generous leg space and the same type of inflight entertainment as the Business Class passengers.

The refurbishing of the first aircraft of the Airbus A330 fleet has started in June and Brussels Airlines passengers already enjoy the new product on the daily connection to New York and on some flights to Africa. By spring 2013, the entire long haul fleet will be retrofitted and all intercontinental passengers will be able to luxuriate in the superior comfort of the new cabins.
